Wear-resistance under Ultra-high Pressure

This camented carbide is the alloy with fine particles and has the high hardness and high compressive strength. As the toughness is low, this material is suitable to the wear-resistant or high-pressure tools which are not exposed to the impact.

・The material grade: DA10

・The applications: Drawing dies, plugs, nozzles, plungers, cutting tips, stamping dies, punches and dies, bushes, gages, plastic and glass forming dies.

・The particle size: 0.8 - 1 micron

General wear-resistance

This cemented carbide is the alloy with fine to medium particles and the most gereral one which has both of the wear-resistance and toughness. This has the widest range of the application and is applied to the various kinds of tools or mechanical parts.

・The material grades: DA20, DA25, DA30, DA50, DA60

・The applications: Press tools, punches, powder forming dies, reduction dies, slitters, punching dies, guides, cutting tips, drawing dies, plugs, nozzles, punches and dies, bushes, gauges, anvils, spindles.

・The particle size: 1 - 2 micron

Wear-resistance and Shock-resistance

This cemented carbide has the more excellent toughness than DA series by using medium particles. This is applied to the various kinds of mining tools or cold forging dies which require the wear and impact-resistance.

・Material grades: EA50, EA60, EA70, EA75, EA80, EA90

・Applications: Press tools, punches, powder forming dies, stamping dies, slitters, header dies, forming dies.

・Particle size: 2 - 4 micron

Shock-resistance

This cemented carbide is the alloy with medium to coarse particles. This has the excellent toghness and impact-resistance. This is applied to the cold forging dies or crush-brade in recycling field. LA80 series is also applied to the warm forging dies.

・Material grades: VA30, VA35, VA40, VA50, VA60, VA70, VA80, VA90, LA80

・Applications: Header dies, punches, forming dies, shredding tools, hot forging dies

・Particle size: 4 - 9 micron

Ultramicroscopic Particles, High Wear-resistance

This cemented caribide is the alloy with ultra-fine particles. This has both of the hardness and strongness and is applied to progressive dies or slitter knifes or molds for powders and so on.

・Material grades: FD25, FD15, FRT15

・Applications: Drawing dies, plugs, nozzles, plungers, cutting tips, reduction dies, stamping punches and die bushes, gauges, plastic and glass forming dies.

・Particle size: 0.5 - 1 micron

Wear-resistance in Hot Applications

This cemented carbide has the excellent oxidation-resistance and strongness in high tempareture by adding the fine particles and the other carbides. This is applied to the various cutting tools or metal saws or end mills.

・Material grades: KA10, KA20

・Applications: Cutting tools.

Corrosion-resistance and Wear-resistance

This cemented carbide is the alloy improved on the strongness and corrosion-resistance of DA series. This is improved dramatically on the electric corrosion-resistance at the electric discharge manufacture along with the strongness.

This cemented carbide is the alloy improved on the oxdation-resistance by adding the other carbides and has both of the wear-resistance and impact-resistance in high tempareture by using medium particles. This applied to the warm and hot forging dies such as the warm forging for bearing steel or the hot forging for engine valve.

Non-magnetic and Corrosion-resistance

This cemented carbide is the alloy with fine particles and Ni binders. This is non-magnetic and applied to pressing dies in magnetic fields or tools for magnetic tapes. This has also the excellent corrosion-resistance and is applied to the equipment parts for chemical or food manufacturing.
